Food at Disneyland Paris’ Disneyland Park – Squidge Eats Guides

Ah Disneyland Paris. I first visited this park when I was still under 10 years old, so somewhere around the early 2000's if I remember rightly. Having just been to Florida, it felt a little underwhelming, but still a lot of fun.

Fast forward to 2017, I was lucky enough to take advantage of an offer that got me a cheap stay at the Disneyland Hotel and my love for this place was rekindled. Paris has come a long way over the years, and with continued investment, it’s certainly no longer the black sheep of the Disney Park family.
I don’t visit DLP as often as I’d like to, but I always have a fantastic time when I go. Though, I’m sure my feet might disagree with the amount of walking usually involved!
We all know Disney parks have some incredible food, but where can you eat at Disneyland Paris’ Disneyland Park? (Apologies in advance for the walls of text, this is a mighty big guide and I don't have the photos to put into it yet!)
Scroll down to take a look at the list, or if you're after specific lands in the park, pick from the links below!
And if you want an idea of where things are at Disneyland Park, then why not check out the park map?
Park info
Originally opening in 1992, Disneyland Paris (known at the time at Euro Disney) had a bit of a rocky start to its life. Plans for a Disney Park in Europe apparently emerged all the way back in 1966, but it took until 1985 for the first agreements for Disneyland Paris to be signed. And while there was a lot of anticipation for the new park, there was also a lot of folks against it – it took some time for Euro Disney to shed the ‘cultural Chernobyl’ moniker that someone so kindly bestowed upon it.
Following low guest numbers, financial struggles including the risk of bankruptcy, and the dropping of the Euro Disney name in favour of Disneyland Paris, 1995 finally saw a turnaround for the troubled park. With the arrival of Space Mountain came the first quarterly profit and improved guest numbers, and the rest is history.
Now, Disneyland Resort Paris is seen as one of Europe’s top theme parks with both the Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park (soon to be Disney Adventure World) holding a special place in the hearts of many.
This guide focuses on Disneyland Park – the Magic Kingdom of Paris. Split into five main areas, the park offers a plethora of places to stop for a snack or a meal.
Main Street U.S.A.
The original Main Street U.S.A in Disneyland California is said to have been inspired by Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri, and there are versions of it in Florida, Hong Kong and of course, Paris.

Paris’ Main Street is very similar in design to the one in Florida, though thanks to the sometimes-unpredictable weather, this version has covered walkways on either side known as ‘arcades’ which feature fun little museum-style exhibit cabinets, as well as access to all of the Main Street shops and some of its restaurants.
Cable Car Bake Shop
‘Enjoy a break with coffee and pastries at this friendly bakery.’
Café, Quick Service
Vegetarian options available
Inspired by old-time San Francisco, this café offers a range of baked goods including sandwiches and cakes. If you’re after something savoury, why not grab one of the Mickey Sandwiches on pretzel bread, or if sweet treats are more your bag, the Cable Car Bake Shop has a range of cakes to choose from including a classic cheesecake or Cable Car Carrot Cake.

Casey’s Corner
‘The bases are loaded with delicious American fare in this baseball-themed diner.’
Hot Dogs, Quick Service
Vegan options available
What would baseball be without hot dogs? I don’t actually know having never been to a baseball game. But Casey’s Corner is serving up a selection of turkey and veggie dogs on Main Street.
Not up for savoury? Ice creams and desserts are also on offer, including a mickey-shaped chocolate mousse sponge cake. The usual hot and cold drinks offerings are here too, with Bud being the beer of choice. Want a little keepsake? Casey’s Corner has souvenir hot and cold drinks cups and a Mickey or Minnie straw.

Cookie Kitchen
‘Follow your nose across Main Street, U.S.A for some baked cookie delights.’
Sweet Treats, On the Go
Vegan option available
A little window on the outside of the Cable Car Bake Shop, the Cookie Kitchen is here to serve up a quick snack while you wander down Main Street. Grab a Mickey Cookies, or my preferred choice – the chocolate-hazelnut filled Mickey beignet. (We can’t call it Nutella for legal reasons.)
The vegan cookie makes an appearance here, along with a handful of other baked goods, and both hot and cold drinks.

Market House Deli
‘Fill up on hot and cold skyscraper sandwiches in this buzzing, early 20th Century New York-style deli.’
Sandwiches, Quick Service
Vegetarian and Vegan options available
About half-way up Main Street is the Market House Deli, serving up hot and cold sandwiches. For fans of Mickey-shaped things, you’ve got the Mickey pretzel bread sandwiches either with ham and Emmental cheese, or shredded veggies and Emmental cheese. If you prefer a toasted offering, you’ve got two croque-monsieur to choose from – ham and cheese or turkey and cheese. Salads and snacks are also available, including pastries, the usual vegan cookie or a Mickey beignet.

Plaza Gardens Restaurant
‘Join Disney Characters for an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast or dinner at this elegant Victorian pavilion in Disneyland Park. Don’t forget to bring your appetite!’
French, Buffet
Vegetarian options available
Sandwiched between the end of Main Street and the entrance to Discoveryland is the Plaza Gardens Restaurant. A buffet outlet in a beautiful Victorian style building, this fixed priced location offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with character dining available at certain times. Bear in mind though that the 8.15am breakfast slot is only available to folks staying at Disney Hotels or Gold Pass holders.
While the app has some information, finding out what actually is available at these buffets is proving to be a bit more of a challenge, so look forward to future updates!

The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour
‘Saunter down Main Street, U.S.A and swing into this early 20th Century ice cream parlour for some delicious tastes by Carte d'Or.’
Ice Cream, On the Go
Allergen information available on request
How much is there to say about an ice cream shop? There are two of them on Main Street, and this one is themed around Charles Dana Gibson’s late 19th/early 20th century Gibson Girl artwork.
For food offerings, it’s all sweet treats, including (unsurprisingly) ice cream, muffins and the Mickey Beignet. Plus, the usual selection of hot and cold drinks.

The Ice Cream Company
‘Cool off and treat your sweet side with a scoop of the cold stuff from this specialist parlour on Main Street, U.S.A.’
Ice Cream, On the Go
Vegan option available
Where The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour focuses on a partnership with Carte D’or, The Ice Cream Company (also on Main Street) offers Ben & Jerry’s tubs and soft serve, affogato style drinks – that’s either a hot chocolate or a coffee, topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, cookie pieces and caramelised almonds and hazelnuts. Quite complicated for an affogato if you ask me!
The Ben & Jerrys tubs are where you’ll find your vegan option – in the form of Cookies on Cookie Dough.

Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant
‘Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant is a cosy and welcoming 19th century-style boarding house, offering tasty sweet treats as well as beer, wine and soft drinks.’
Sweet Treats, Bar
I’m intrigued as to what Disney considers a ‘Bar’ because all of the marketing material for the new Regal View Lounge states that it’s the first bar inside either park, but Victoria’s exists and is listed as a Bar in the app… Oh well.
This little stop on Main Street mainly focuses on drinks including hot, cold and alcoholic options. If you’re in for a coffee, Victoria’s has cold brew options too. Either a standard Original, or one customised with a syrup and sauce of your choice. And if you want a souvenir to take with you, they’ve got Stitch sippers and a Disneyland Paris Champagne Flute on offer.
You can pick up a snack here in the form of the classic Mickey waffle with whipped cream, mini meringues and either Nutella or salted caramel sauce.

Walt’s – An American Restaurant
‘Serving sophisticated and contemporary American cuisine with European influences, this is a Victorian-style tribute to the life and work of Walt Disney.’
American, Table Service
Vegan options available
I’ll be honest, I’ve been sleeping on Walt’s. The idea of an American Restaurant when I could go get tasty Caribbean food over at Captain Jack’s or be shrunk to the size of a rat at Remy’s, it just didn’t capture my attention.
Then I watched Behind the Attraction’s episode on Food.
Walt’s is now right at the top of my list of places to try. The menu is inspired by a list of meals that Walt Disney’s housekeeper Thelma ‘Fou Fou’ Howard kept on the family refrigerator – the meals that Walt liked to eat. But of course, we’re in France so the meals have been elevated somewhat. Sure, you can still enjoy chilli in a can like Walt used to, but now it’s served in a beautiful ceramic can.
Walt’s is another restaurant offering a set menu, with three courses coming to €55, or €75 if you’d like the accompanying wine flight. The children’s menu comes in at €30.

Frontierland
The wild west town of Thunder Mesa finds its home in Frontierland. With quite the backstory involving Henry Ravenswood, mining and of course, Big Thunder Mountain, there’s a lot to see and do in this section of the park.

The land itself sits between Main Street U.S.A and Adventureland, with a whole run of shops and restaurants as you enter from Main Street via Fort Cornstock.
Casa de Coco – Restaurante De Familia
‘Enjoy the delicious flavours of traditional Mexican dishes with your whole familia in this place you’re sure to remember, which celebrates the world of the beloved Disney Pixar movie Coco.’
Mexican, Quick Service
Vegetarian and Vegan options available
Sat pretty much opposite Big Thunder Mountain is Casa de Coco, a quick service outlet serving up burritos, salads and sweet treats. If you’re looking for more of a meal, they offer the Mariachi Menu which gets you a burrito, fries or a side salad, the Coco-themed dessert and a drink for €22.
And if you’re in need of a new sipper, they have a very cute Dante sipper available for purchase.

Cowboy Cookout Barbeque
‘Giddy up to this live Country music hoedown, where a barn-load of mouthwatering grills await.’
BBQ, Quick Service
Vegan options available
I’ll admit, this place usually passes me by, but if you’re a fan of BBQ, this could be a good stop for you. If you’re feeling hungry, the Sheriff’s BBQ offers ribs, chicken, sausage and fries all on one plate. Smaller options are available, alongside salads and burgers, including a plant-based burger.
Follow it up with a selection of desserts including the double Mickey cake or a Mickey dessert. And for a little change of pace, why not have some sangria alongside your dinner?

Critter Corral
‘Treat yourself to sweet and savoury snacks inspired by The Lion King accompanied by a hot or cold drink!’
Snacks, On the Go
If you want a snack for the train ride from the Frontierland Depot, then Critter Corral is perfectly placed. It is a little weird to me finding Lion King themed things in the far corners of Frontierland, but I don’t make the rules.
There isn’t much on offer from this little outlet, but you can pick up a Lion King-themed ‘Croq’ filled with ham and cheese. Looking for something sweet? They’ve got the Pawsome Delight chocolate-hazelnut biscuit and the chocolate Lollipaw.

Last Chance Cafe
‘Trek your little outlaws for a place to lay low and fill up on some tasty food.’
BBQ, Quick Service
Vegan options available
I’ll be honest, I very nearly just put TURKEY LEGS as the ‘food type’ for this place.
The Last Chance Café sits between The Lucky Nugget Saloon and the Silver Spur Steakhouse down in Frontierland, and yes, top of the menu is the famous Disney Turkey Leg. Other options are available including chicken nuggets, salad and a vegan chilli. Like most places, you can also grab an ice cream for a sweet treat, hot or cold drinks and you’ve got 1664 on tap.

Overland Trail Café
‘Pick up a delicious serving of Doritos® Loaded nachos at this Far West-themed kiosk, created by our chefs in collaboration with our Official Partner Doritos.’
Nachos, On the Go
Vegan option available
Anything partnered with Doritos should be pretty self-explanatory – you’re getting nachos. With toppings including veggie, chicken or beef, there’s a decent variety here. Churros are also on offer, so if you need a sweet follow-up from your nacho feast, you’re covered. Hot and cold drinks as usual, with Brooklyn IPA being the beer of choice here.

Silver Spur Steakhouse
‘Don your rootin' tootin' boots and swagger into this Western-style gentlemen's club, where prime cuts are grilled to perfection.’
Steak, Table Service
Vegan options available
Having not been into the Silver Spur Steakhouse, I cannot possibly comment on if DLP should be calling this a ‘gentlemen’s club’ but here we are.
The Silver Spur offers a relatively small menu focussed on BBQ-style cooking and steak. You’ve either got your standard meal plan fixed price menu, or a slightly expanded a la carte offering. Similar to the Steakhouse over in Disney Village, the restaurant offers several options on how you want your steak cooked, including Blue if you’re mad like me.

The Lucky Nugget Saloon
‘Strike gold with our quick and easy Tex-Mex menus whilst feasting your eyes on the extravagant décor of this gold rush saloon bar.’
Tex Mex, Table Service
Vegan options available
I’m not entirely sure I’d call this a Tex Mex restaurant, but I don’t make the menus. The Lucky Nugget has a few basic offerings for you including crispy chicken, burgers, ribs and a vegetable cassolette as a vegan option.
No Mickey-themed desserts here, and the desserts they do have are a little underwhelming, unless you want an ice cream sundae. Otherwise, your options are a fruit salad, brownie, muffin or a doughnut. I’m don’t know about you, but after a meal, if I’m having a dessert, I want something a bit more… restaurant rather than coffee shop if that makes sense.

Adventureland
A real mix of themes, Adventureland connects Frontierland and Fantasyland. Made up of four distinct areas, the land features inspiration from Aladdin, the Lion King, Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean.

This is reflected in the wide variety of food outlets you can find here, from the buffet of Agrabah Café to the Caribbean-style cooking of Captain Jack’s.
Agrabah Café Restaurant
‘Follow in the footsteps of Aladdin for an enticing feast in the heart of a colourful, bustling Agrabah.’
Middle Eastern, Buffet
Vegetarian and vegan options available
Serving up a Middle Eastern inspired buffet with options like Royal Couscous, confit lamb or falafel, Agrabah Café fits in well in Adventureland. A range of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks are available to accompany your feast.

Café de la Brousse
‘Relax and enjoy a snack in the shade of these African huts on the banks of an oasis.’
Snacks, On The Go
Vegan option available
Tucked away in Adventureland, Café de la Brousse is a small, on the go location between Restaurant Hakuna Matata and Agrabah Café. This is a bit of a one-trick pony, in that the only hot snack they offer is breaded beef bites (think like chicken nuggets, but beef). But it is also the only place in the park to grab DLP’s equivalent of Dole Whip. The two paw-print themed snacks are pretty cute too.
The menu does say it offers something for vegans, but it is just a cookie, so bear that in mind.

Captain Jack’s – Restaurant des Pirates
‘Dive into a pirates’ feast of exotic seafood and Creole cooking in this refurbished, bustling tavern on the shores of a torchlit lagoon.’
Caribbean, Table Service
Vegan options available
This is one of my favourite spots in Disneyland Park, partially because the Pirates of the Caribbean ride actually goes through the restaurant, and partially because apparently Jack Sparrow won this place in a bet. It is pretty fun having the boats float past while you’re enjoying your meal – adds to the atmosphere. Well, at least until someone gets out their phone with the flash on. But anyway.
I’ve seen mixed reviews for Captain Jack’s online, but my experiences have always been positive. The food is tasty, a little different, and really fits the vibe of the restaurant. And if you’re really lucky, Jack Sparrow will come along, steal your bread roll and a bit of your cocktail. Honestly though, that cast member nailed their performance, and shoutout to his handler who just had a bag full of bread rolls.
I’ve not tried the a la carte options as usually I’ve had a meal plan, but I’m a fan of the baked mahi-mahi fillet and the roast pineapple shortbread on the Pirates Treasure Menu. It’s been a while since my last visit, so hopefully some more up to date recommendations will be coming soon!

It’s an odd combination at Colonel Hathi’s but maybe elephants like pizza? Who’s to say.
This outpost is sat near to Adventureland’s link with Frontierland, on the way to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. Choose between curry or a Mickey pizza, both available as part of meal deals. A kid’s menu is also available. Plus, your usual desserts and drinks, this time featuring the double Mickey cake – a pair of little Mickey-shaped sponge cakes, one almond and one chocolate flavour.

Vegetarian option available
Turns out they serve waffles in the African savanna, or at least they do in the Disney version. Grab a trio of Mickey waffles, some Lays crisps (chips to our American friends), or an ice-cream, including a Lion King take on the classic Mickey sandwich. And as usual, a selection of hot drinks and bottled soft drinks.

Restaurant Hakuna Matata
‘Wander over to Adventureland, where you'll unearth quick bites for all your young pride in this Lion King-themed eatery.’
African, Quick Service
Vegan options available
Disney describes this as an African restaurant, and I’d say that’s a loose term. Sure, you can get Yassa Chicken or the vegan Chakalaka, but with chicken strips at the top of the menu, it’s a little jarring. But hey, maybe when the actual Lion King land opens in Adventure World, maybe they’ll do it a little better.
Of course you can pick up some cute, themed desserts including the pawprint ice cream sandwich and a banana bread cupcake with Simba’s face on it. Or if you don’t mind a little less theming, try the plantain bites with coconut and Nutella.

Fantasyland
Every Magic Kingdom park needs some kind of Fantasyland and Paris’ sits directly behind Sleeping Beauty Castle. Featuring several of the classic Disney dark rides including Snow White, Peter Pan and Pinocchio, this section of the park is as fairytale as it gets.

The land itself is surprisingly sprawling, as it snakes round to connect with Discoveryland on the right, and Adventureland on the left.
Au Chalet de la Marionnette

Translating roughly to Cinderalla’s Inn, I’d argue that Inn is not quite befitting the Auberge. One of the park’s more expensive outlets, Auberge de Cendrillon offers a three-course set menu, including a wine accompaniment for the adults.
Character dining is also available in the form of the Royal Breakfast. Choose from two sittings and enjoy a full breakfast with the Disney Princesses.

Toad Hall Restaurant
‘Hop over to this English countryside stately home for traditional British fare in a grand setting inspired by The Wind in the Willows.’

As a Brit, I can be quite picky when it comes to fish and chips, so I’ll be honest, I’ve not been to Toad Hall because I really don’t like a disappointing chippy tea. However, having been to the Yacht Club several years ago and had a pretty good take on our classic takeaway, I’m more inclined to give Toad Hall a shot.
The menu focuses on the classic fish and chips – though it’s not specified which white fish it is. If you’re not feeling the fish supper, you can opt for a salad instead. For kids, there is a smaller fish and chips portion available.
Toad Hall does have a few desserts, including an apple pie and an exclusive Mr Toad cupcake with a lemon meringue flavour.

Discoveryland
Paris’ version of Tomorrowland brought an entirely different concept, featuring inspiration from Jules Verne’s vision of the future. There’s a lot of clockwork and steampunk design features which are an interesting contract to the Star Wars theming that’s also present. Perhaps none more so than Hyperspace Mountain, but that’s for another time.

Compared to the rest of the lands, Discoveryland is actually quite sparse when it comes to food, with just three outlets in the space.
